Mack/Volvo has announced that the Bergey’s Truck Centers New Castle, DE location has completed the certification process and is now officially a Certified Electric Vehicle (EV) Dealership. We are proud of our team’s achievements completing this rigorous program. We are also excited to be able to support our customers who have EVs in their fleets.
Bergey’s Truck Centers – New Castle is a full-service repair facility and retail parts shop located at 29 E. Commons Blvd. The dealership has 23 service bays with 14 technicians, many of which are already Master Techs, and 2 who recently completed EV Master Tech certification.
“EV certification takes time and effort by all involved,” stated Mark Brown, vice president of service for Bergey’s Truck Centers. “We are excited to have the support of Mack/Volvo on our journey to becoming an EV Certified shop. Our team worked hard to meet numerous stringent safety, charging, tooling, specialized Master EV Technician training, infrastructure and facility requirements to be certified. We plan to continue our training and upgrades in preparation for adding other Bergey’s Truck Center locations to support EV customer needs.”
